You’ll reach this through the heart of every Toastmasters club, the Educational Program. This proven, self-paced curriculum gives you opportunities to work on your speaking and leadership skills at the same time. This happens without a teacher telling you what to do, but with the support and encouragement from our members. Through a set of handbooks you will learn the art of public speaking and inspiring leadership, starting from the beginning. With these skills you’ll become more successful in your job, your personal relationships and in life.
To make this happen, we meet on a regular basis to practice our public speaking, leadership and communication skills. These meetings are the most important ingredient to enable your growth. A typical meeting gives you the opportunity to speak, prepared or impromptu, to fill meeting roles and to take advantage of volunteer leadership opportunities. All this happens in a fun, supportive and encouraging atmosphere provided by every Toastmasters club around the world.
